logoplasm :: parasite rework process description attempt to create, test in different media and possibly evolve a super-parasite we downloaded all the samples except nr.9, mixed them together via multichannel software emulation before listening to them as to prevent conscious judgement. panned everything relentlessly as to create spiralling stereo images, mimicking a dna helix. burned the result on cd-r, copied on tapes, encoded in very poor quality soundfiles as to strenghten and concealing it. further live processing via old patches that we previously used in other works and manual alteration of tape machines mechanisms. the resulting bunch of soundfiles get copied on tapes again and brought out in the world. two tapes get played simultaneously in an abandoned agricultural reservoir, transmitted home over mobile phone and recorded on tape again. another get played outside during a storm, transmitted via walkie-talkie and recorded on video-tape, played back through old tv speakers at low volume and recorded directly to hard-disk via microphone. final version assembled live, Paolo manually altering tape machines and Laura reprocessing them on the computer while a microphone outside the window picked up the noise made by an unquenchable wind.
